It’s finally safe for us weebs to come out of our dark rooms. I’ve historically kept my secret obsession with anime to myself but in the last few years, thanks to TikTok and the pandemic (ironically), I’ve started to embrace it!
I was always insecure about what other people might think. I mean, let’s be honest, I’m a 5 foot 2 white girl so people assume I’m into normal girl things like the Bachelor and Gossip Girl. Don’t get me wrong, Bachelor in Paradise is a great summer binge and Blair Waldorf has some of the best one-liners but they aren’t what I gravitate to. But enough about my nerdy backstory lol.
Here are my favorite websites to find anime tshirts and level up my gym ‘fits.
Hot Topic
Hot topic, you changed. I never would have guessed that I’d be scrolling your online store for Anime Gym Tees like HunterXHunter, Jujutsu Kaisen, and My Hero. I’m glad we’ve come to an understanding now. Beware! You can scroll through these tees for hours so just… time it appropriately.
Target
You heard me. As if we all needed another reason to love Target, I found another one. Their Anime Gym Tees selection is more mainstream but I’m glad to see the representation in a major store. From Sailor Moon to Demon Slayer, they have an even better selection online but in-store is so fun to shop too!
Etsy
I love supporting small businesses, especially the fellow weebs. You’re bound to find something that’s your style on Etsy. Pro-Tip: My favorite search phrase is “Anime Vintage Tshirt”
Walmart
Your disclaimer is that these aren’t the best, per say, Anime Gym Tees but they are hella cheap. $8 for the Naruto one below. If you need a little extra flair, try tie-dying, reverse-tie-dying these or acid washing them.
